Remarks | Exactly a week before ,in that same area of the sky , I saw an odd object like a slow moving satellite at 8:50 PM but it suddenly brightened (well within the earth's shadow) as it moved SW to NE . Then it slowly dimmed ,disappearing 25 degrees above the NE Horizon .It was as bright as Venus but dim as Polaris. |

Remarks | After the bright flash, a small piece proceeded in the same direction to make that thin line of light.I felt that other fragments scattered 90 degrees to the brightened object (or Flash). |
