Hello, my name is Daryel Stager, 55 and live in Spring Valley, California, San Diego County. I’m a relative beginner in observing meteors, but have been involved in astronomy for many years. I’m also an active member of the San Diego Astronomy Association, Astronomical League and submitted observations to the American Association of Variable Star Observers.
My first meteor session was observing the Quadrantids this January, which was my first meteor shower I have ever really observed (it was pretty cool too). Also, I’ve been participating in the Astronomical Leagues meteor observing program for the past few months. Recently I have been consolidating my astronomy interests into specific areas such as solar system and planetary nebula observations. Since the Quadrantids shower I have felt a growing interest to the area of meteors observations.
