Amateur astrophotographer. I enjoy taking time lapse images of the stars. I then make videos of these or star trail images but I'm always searching for great meteor shots. On the night of September 23, 2014 the skies over north Alabama were crystal clear due to a front that had moved through a few days prior and I was taking advantage of the clear skies doing some random time lapse shots looking northwest. I was rewarded with this image at about 830pm CST.
