I grew up on a farm in South Arkansas, spending the days looking at the ground for Indian relics and nights staring at the stars. Understand that going outside at night in South Arkansas you are going to inhale mosquitoes! My sister calls me a few years ago and gets me to watch a new series on TV called Meteorite Men. About the same time a friend gets me into photography.
Fast forward to now living in the Ozarks on the Arkansas/Missouri border and I can enjoy the night sky in peace. Not enough bugs to bother me and no lights around for at least a mile. I finally get a webcam up high enough to watch the skies from here and placed another at a Coffee Shop in Marshall, Arkansas.
Still hoping to find my first meteorite.
