Hi, I'm Peter, a meteor enthusiast for many years. My dad got me into sky watching many years ago, looking through a telescope, trying to see the moons of Jupiter.
In January 2021, I happened to randomly spot a meteor while walking outside through a parking lot (https://fireball.amsmeteors.org/members/imo_view/event/2021/115), however I didn't know anything about reporting meteors at the time, and I was happy to be able to look online and see videos of the same meteor I saw.
In 2022, after hearing other people talk of meteors, I spotted 2 more meteors with a small indoor 1080p camera that was pointed north, and just happened to capture them.
In 2023, I set up outdoor cameras with the intent of capturing more meteors, and I began regularly checking AMS Meteors to see if there were any spottings that my cameras may have captured.
In 2024, I managed to capture 30 meteors on camera.
In 2025, I finally became a member of AMS Meteors, and hope to capture more meteors!
