Over 70 fireball reports from 3 states
The AMS has received over 70 reports so far about of a fireball event seen above Florida on October 6th, 2018 around 10:20pm EDT (October 7th 02:20 Universal Time). The fireball was seen primarily from Florida but was also seen from South Carolina and Georgia.

This is so exciting. So my daughter is in the Seminole High School marching band in Pinellas County ounty,Florida. Saturday night was the marching band festival at her school. The show this year is The Sword in the Stone. The big moment in the show this year is when a kid in the back of the field on the 50 yard line pulls a glowing sword out of a stone. Right at this moment during the show people caught this green fireball on video right where the sword prop was. It looked like the meteor was heading right toward the prop. It was absolutely amazing. The video is posted on the Seminole High School Band Boosters facebook page. I will check and see if i can get permission to share it with you.

My friend and I were on the hwy coming back from Miami (to Orlando area) It came down to our right. We saw it too! It was amazing. You could see the fire crackling!
I saw one in Wewahitchka, FL the same night.
We saw two that night. First was from Winter Garden FL. It was very large looking, this was at around 10:20pm. Then we were driving north on I75 after leaving Winter Garden and we saw another smaller or further away at 11:11pm.
I saw the one on I-75 too.@ 11:15pm…..I was driving north close to I-10….it was falling from my northwest view. It was so exciting to see!
My husband and I were just driving southbound 95 approximately 10:40 ET in Florida South of Scottsmore and saw another fireball. We also saw one Dec. 31, 2017 just South of Port Orange. Very neat!! As an Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Alumni, Iām geeking out š
I SAW A GREENISH/BLUE NEON BALL OF LIGHT, FALL OUT OF THE SKY AROUND 7:48PM CENTRAL TIME SUN 11/04/2018 IN ST. JOE BEACH, FL. GULF COUNTY. STANDING ON THE DECK LOOKING TOWARDS MEXICO BEACH ON HWY 98 OVER THE BEACH. I HAD JUST CALLED MY DAD, TALKING TO HIM WHEN IT HAPPEN. SO THE TIME WAS ON MY PHONE. DID ANYONE ELSE SEE IT. I saw the same Bright Green Light on Nov 27 (2018) night around 11:05 it just pop up in the sky for a second and and vanished. Also I noticed what looks like a smoke trail rite across the moon. I first though it was a military jet. This green light was nothing close to it the speed it traveled.
